In order to use the services or features made available to you on our website you will be required to submit your request which is the same as registration. The use of the services or features made available to you on our website is strictly limited to parties who can lawfully enter into and form contracts in accordance with English law.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF YOUR REQUEST AND ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR ORDER
We will notify you by email as soon as possible to acknowledge receipt of your request and to inform you if we think we can or cannot search for you. If we are unable to fulfil your request following this acknowledgement, we will contact you by email or telephone advising you of this. If we are able to fulfil your request we will email to let you know if we've located the requested item(s) informing total cost and ask you to confirm you want to proceed. Upon your confirmation by email we issue a PayPal invoice (Pro Forma) for item and delivery cost and our fee. Only once full payment is received from you will we purchase and despatch the item by signed-for service. Our acceptance of your order will take place upon despatch of the item(s) ordered. When we accept your submitted order for merchandise on this website, there will be a legally binding contract.
If you require any information concerning your order please email us at info@shoppinglistlondon.com quoting reference number. We may not accept your order if an item you have requested is out of stock, if we have identified a product or pricing error or if we are unable to obtain authorization for your payment. Please note that we reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time.
If an item you have requested is out of stock by the time your prompt and complete payment has cleared into our account after we have sent you an invoice with the intention of obtaining the requested items for you, you will receive a full refund. If we believe that your payment of our invoice was not prompt or was delayed so that goods could reasonably be expected to be out of stock or otherwise unavailable by the time payment cleared, we will refund your payment less an amount to cover cost of online payment transaction charges and possibly telephone or other expenses incurred by us. We reserve the right to decide the number of days which constitute a delayed payment though this probably but not exclusively means making online payment more than 48 hours after receipt of our pro forma invoice.
PRICING AND PAYMENT
All payments will be according to PayPal’s terms. The underlying transaction currency will be GBP (UK Pounds Sterling). If you are making payment from outside the UK, currency exchange will be at the prevailing PayPal rate. You will be responsible for your observation and compliance with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all customs, import or other permits to purchase goods. The importation or exportation of certain goods may be prohibited by certain national laws. We make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the goods you purchase.
DELIVERY AND RISK
Please view Delivery section on the site for details. Whenever referred to, working days exclude Saturday, Sunday and Bank holidays. Orders to one address may be delivered in one or more deliveries however you will only incur one delivery charge. If you have specified delivery to more than one address when placing your request there is a separate charge for each destination address. Any delivery timescales are indicative only. Time is not of the essence. Risk in the goods passes to you as soon as goods are despatched. Shopping List London will not be liable for damage to or loss of goods in transit.
INSPECTION
You should inspect the goods upon receipt and check that items specified on the delivery note are included. You will be deemed to have accepted the order unless you notify us upon receipt that there is a problem or you cancel the order in accordance with your cancellation right and/or you return the goods in accordance with our returns policy. If you fail to take such action, we are not obligated to accept any rejection by you of the merchandise at a later date. Your statutory rights are not affected.
CANCELLATION
Since Shopping List London purchases items specified by you solely on your behalf we ask you to request only items you are sure are what you want and to your taste and correct fit. We are a shopping service as opposed to a traditional retail store. Under UK distance selling regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven days from the date of receipt of the goods if you send us a notice of cancellation in writing and return the goods to us in their original, unopened, unused and perfect condition with all ticketing attached only otherwise items will not be refundable. Please be aware that signs of use include evidence of items being worn or marked (deodorant, perfume, smoke, food, make-up) or the labels or ticketing being removed. Also there are some items which by their nature may be excluded from return authorization these include but are not limited to lingerie and hosiery, swimwear, pierced earrings, opened perfume and toiletry products . All delivery charges and online payment transaction fees both ways will be paid by you and are not refundable. Our fee is not refundable. You can email regarding cancellation info@shoppinglistlondon.com. Authorized cancellations should be returned by registered delivery service as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit. Your statutory rights are not affected.
RETURNS
We want you to have a happy experience using our website service. If you are not satisfied we are happy to offer a refund on goods which are found to have genuine manufacturing faults and are returned to us following our returns authorization instructions. Your request for returns authorization must be made within seven days of your receipt of goods. The right to return goods does not apply unless the goods are in their original, unopened, unused and perfect condition with all ticketing attached otherwise items will not be refundable.
